Ross Wagers

Vice President of Construction and Development

Ross Wagers joined Paragon Hotel Company in 2012 and serves as the organization’s Vice President of Construction and Development. Mr. Wagers’ management approach, based on empowerment and accountability at all levels, has enabled the construction and development sector, under his leadership, to thrive while attaining and meeting both construction deadlines and safety targets, on time and under budget.

Mr. Wagers graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1992, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Business Management. Ross has been recognized with the distinguished President’s Award by Hilton Hotels. Prior to joining Paragon Hotel Company, he served as the Vice President of Operations for Hospitality America, Inc., where he assisted with site selection, development, and all aspects of opening over 16 hotels for the company. Mr. Wagers has also served on Hilton Worldwide’s IT Advisory Board, the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Hotel & Motel Association and was President of the Tri-Cities Hotel & Motel Association of Tennessee.

Ross and his wife Deana have a son, Dustin and a daughter, Kaitlyn. Mr. Wagers’ greatest passion is aviation, as many of his neighbors know since he is one of the few people to have a full-sized Piper Warrior II airplane fuselage in the garage of his home. When he finds any spare time between his career and his daughter’s travel softball schedule, you will find him in the garage with his son working on converting the airplane fuselage into a fully functioning flight simulator.

“There is no greater joy for me than to spend quality time with my family in any activity.”
